Trent's at it Again!

So, this is another story about poop.

I don't know if it's a boy thing or just a toddler thing but Trent has seemed to have more than his fair share of poop stories.

Anyhow, it happened like this...

Last Friday, as we were getting ready to head to the Bay Area, Trent took off all of his clothes. He had already gone to the bathroom three times that day so I figured that I would let him run around naked as I curled my hair because I was then going to get him dressed and ready to leave. So, I put Sesame Street on and run into my room to curl my hair. After about three minutes, I don't hear him jabbering along to the episode like he usually does so I poke my head around the corner and into the family room.  I instantly notice that he has something in both of his hands. Not recognizing what he was playing with so intently, I walk toward him perplexed. And then I see it...he has poop in his hands!

I call out his name and he looks up at me and proudly says, "Poop!"I walk toward him slowly so as not to startle him into running across the house with a hand full of the brown stuff. He smiles, holds out both of his hands toward me and then smacks his two hands together roughly, making one big poo cake. Trying not to gag, I calmly got him to the toilet and told him that that is where he is supposed to go poo. He three his turn sandwich into the bowel and then took off screeching like a hyena. I then had to practically hose him down because not only did he have poop on his hands but he had a few streaks down his belly.

I don't know what it is with Trent and poop! I am hoping it is a Trent thing as opposed to a boy thing because I don't want to deal with these poop incidents with the next little boy who is due in May.

Now, I'm off to paint Trent's new room.

By the way, thanks for the enormous amount of views I've had this last week! I don't know what is going on but it makes me happy to see over 200 views each day! My guess is that people want to see if I am going to post the e-mail I've discussed in previous posts. But anyhow, thanks for the support everyone! With these numbers, I'll try to post something every day but it's been hard because Trent's ear infection is still bad. We have an appointment with the doctor this week and he has a hearing test next week and the surgery will then be scheduled from there. I'll keep you updated!

  1. LOL...I think it's a "Trent" thing because I have never heard so many stories about a toddler playing with his poop!!! Hopefully your next little monster won't follow in big brother's foot steps!!!

    1. Oh no! I was afraid it was just Trent. I just don't understand his obsession :). This is why I need a little girl who will play tea party. Lol.
