I have hit the 24 week mark today and as thebump.com has informed me in my weekly email, baby is now the size of a cantaloupe....yum, cantaloupe. I'm hungry which is good because I have only gained 3 pounds this pregnancy. I just haven't had an appetite to save my life. I try to remember to eat because I know I need to feed the baby but it is hard because I haven't been hungry!
Back to the baby...
I am feeling him kick more and more and even seeing my belly move a lot, especially at night. If I sit down for a moment, I can usually see a bum or a head poke up and down a few times which always makes me laugh. Trent points to my tummy and says "baby" which also makes me laugh. I still feel pretty good. My back is starting to hurt and I'm still tired (both of which will only get worse) but other than that, I feel great.
At this point in my pregnancy with Trent, the nursery was nearly complete. I haven't even started the new nursery but Trent and I did go to Home Depot today and pick up several samples of paint to try. We are going with a shade of grey which we are hoping will go well with the pirate theme we've picked for the nursery. I've browsed pirate decor but have yet to purchase a single thing. I have however, started to stock up on diapers, baby lotion and soap, etc. Being that we already have a boy, there really isn't that much to get, which is nice.
Being that nothing eventful is going on with the baby, that's about all there is to report for now!!
